He sold our mother’s home in Santa Clara this summer. It was not easy to let go of the family home, not easy to decide to refresh a few areas of the home that were tired, not easy to see our family home in a new light. Scott walked us through this journey every step of the way. He provided us with lists of people to handle all aspects of repair work, lists of agencies to help with the disposition of personal items. He put in an enormous amount of time and effort helping us to prepare the home to go onto the market, then moved onto marketing of the property using several different avenues including an online video segment. We were in a situation where we needed to sell our home coming into the holiday season (what is typically considered not the most ideal time to put a home on the market). Scott assured us that with the right strategy we still could get top dollar for our home.
Scott put together a targeted marketing campaign. First off, he worked with a company to tastefully stage the home, then he created a unique web URL for the property with photos (slideshow animation & music), detailed property information, open house schedules, contact information etc. From this website Scott sent us automated reports that showed the traffic to the website (visits, views and clicks) so we could see how well his campaign was working!
In addition, Scott leveraged social media sites combined with traditional print media all branded with an easily scan-able QR code to direct traffic to the website. We have never seen such a comprehensive marketing campaign in real estate and IT WORKED! We were in contract before Thanksgiving and closed escrow before Christmas!
Scott has a Silicon Valley high-tech background and he understands the high-tech market extremely well. He provided us the marketing plan and updated analytics to make us comfortable during this stressful process of selling a home. We have told all our friends and co-workers what an amazing job Scott did marketing AND SELLING our home.
